Utility Patent is also well-known as a patent for an invention. It is a privilege over new or improved merchandise. It is the most preferable patent rights in the USA. Utility patent gives various commercial rights to the creators for producing and utilizing advanced technology. A utility patent is quite expensive and is a time-consuming process. Design Patent:

Canada, South Africa, China, the United States, and other countries keep this patent confidential till the time it is not granted. 

Plant Patent: 
It is given to those inventors who create some useful features that are used to protect the plant. This plant patent right lasts for 20 years after the date of application. Respective patent right comes into action after 18 months from filing the application date. 
Reasons why USA Citizens must apply for Utility Patent.
1.      It helps in enhancing cost and profit.
2.      It helps in encouraging doing further inventions.
